XII. Symmetry

 

1. For drawing on symmetric objects in 3D Brush there is symmetry. Quick start of a menu "Symmetry" is a hot key "S":

 

 

2. By default, symmetry is not on (the first icon in the list). The second, the third and the forth icons are different types of symmetry: by axes X, Y and Z.

Press ‘Tab’ for change position of plane.

The fifth - reset symmetry planes into beginning of coordinates.

 

3.      Experiment with symmetry on an object, choose symmetry by axis X. And now draw on an object. You will see that drawing occurs symmetrically (see example on picture). Symmetry accelerates work almost twice. Use it if you have an opportunity.
